How do you give correct information on a Yahoo answer that has already been cloased, but is incorrect?

The question about how to save a PowerPoint 2007 file in 1997-2003 format is incorrect. The save as feature does not work unless the person with PowerPoint 2003 downloads a patch. Thus, the save as function is only a psudeo 2003 format. However, I am unable to add this infomrmation because the question is closed. Why can't answers with incorrect information be corrected?How do you give correct information on a Yahoo answer that has already been cloased, but is incorrect?Because it's just a bulletin board system, closed is closed...

Try emailing the person who posted the question if you're really worried about it; some users allow email or messaging, check their profile...

Yahoo Answers is no more a "bulletin board system" than Wikipedia is. It's easy enough for them to have a facility where answers are improved (as with Answers.com). They just choose not to.
