I am interested in buying a puggle. They are so adorable and I am considering going to the RSPCA. Are they good pets? What are some other adorable crossbreeds?Are puggles good pets? I mean, a combination of a cute little pug, and a lively and medium-sized dog, it's a perfect combination for a little 'chaos' in a good way. But you also have to remember that puggles to get the genes of the beagles, so they can smell things from far distance and will chase after it, and they howl. Oh yes they can how. So watch out for that. And about the other crossed-breeds part, there are tons of cross breed in the world. Just breed a dog breed, with a different one, you will get a breed that is called 'mutt' To name some, there are labradoodle, goldendoodle, maltipoo, chiweenei, cavachon, chorkie, beagle hound, and a whole bunch more. This is a MIXED BREED. No one knows if they are "good pets" or not. Just as people generalized wolf hybrids because of the majority of people who own them are NOT experienced. I own a wolf hybrid, but my dad is experienced with wolves and wolf hybrids. HOWEVER, hybrids should not be bred as pets. My dog has his own problems that I've needed help training from my dad.



Now, you should go to your local shelter/rescue/pound and adopt a mixed breed. There's WAY too many that are being killed. Usually poodle mixes make for cute dogs(though not my type, to be honest).



Please, no more designer names. Call them exactly what they are: MIXED BREEDS. Puggle/Beagle cross, Lab/Poodle cross, Golden Retriever/Poodle cross, Chihuahua/Pomeranian, whatever.

"Puggles" are mutts, they do not have a predictable set of physical or behavioral traits. The same goes for any other "crossbreed." Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against mutts (I own 3 of them), but don't expect other people's experiences with individuals of this breed mix to be generalizable to all Pug/Beagle mixes.

You will probably get a lot of negative answers because the breeders are mix breeding to get a "designer dog" and charge way too much for them.

Check petfinder.com or your local shelters because I know there are Puggles available. Adopting one would be great. You'd be saving a life and wouldn't be paying a back-yard-breeder.

Puggles are baby Echidnas. I presume you are asking about a Beagle crossed with a Pug.



Research other cross bred dogs if you want to know about them. Most dogs make good pets if they have good dog knowledgeable owners.
They're mutts. Mutts can make nice pets, but there's no predictability in mutts. Most of them are as ugly as a mud fence, and are even less healthy than the pet- or cull-quality purebreds they were bred from.Are puggles good pets? What are some other adorable crossbreeds?

yes they are. i actually have one1. he's a smart dog and he talks back lol. i ask wanna go out? and he'll bark at me if he does or sit if he doesnt. he sleeps with me and when he runs his ears flop and its so funny! their adorable dogs and i would highly recommend them!!
