One of the pet food companies put out a video that tells you what should and should not be in your pet's food. It really helped me to understand ingredients a lot better. I haven't found anything else like it on the Internet. You can watch it at http://www.trilogyonline.com/Trilogy/Pets/SafetyMessage.aspx?realname=40042651%26amp;cat=0%26amp;hdr=%26amp;Ath=False
I wound up switching my pets over to that food, Life's Abundance by HealthyPetNet. My 2 year old girl had developed kidney problems on the bad foods but on HealthyPetNet, they are all fine and healthy now. I now know that they (I have six cats) are eating healthy and I don't have to worry about the store brands causing them harm.Does anyone know what brands of cat and dog food were killing pets?
This list is here:

A lot of the well-known brands are affected. IAMS is bad and affected by the recall; it's not as good as people think it is. Try one of these brands:
Animal Food Services
CountryPet
Evanger's Dog and Cat Food Company
The Honest Kitchen
Know Better Dog Food
Natural Balance
Nature's Variety
Newman's Own Organics
Stella %26amp; Chewy's
Timberwolf Organics
V-Dog
Veterinary Nutritional Formula
Wellness
Wysong
Of the listed brands, only Natural Balance was affected by the recall. Even so, the company instantly tested the rest of their products for melamine when some products were recalled. So the remaining products are perfectly safe.
Some of the worst brands are:
Science Diet
IAMS
Eukanuba
Mighty Dog
Ol' Roy
among others....Does anyone know what brands of cat and dog food were killing pets?cat foods
