Can you give me a list of trainable exotic pets?

I don't want a monkey because I figured out they are illegal in my state and need a bunch of attention, I wouldn't be around for that, my parents would but not me. They can also be dangerous and pass on life threatening diseases like Herpes B. So are there any exotic pets that are trainable and somewhat on the small side. I'll say sugar glider size at the smallest, but I am open to all suggestions as long as it's not too big or too small. Can I have a list, too?
