How can I get contact information for a reasonably prominent theatrical director?

I have the names of a couple of established directors whose previous work leads me to believe they might be interested in my theatre piece. I would like to put out a query to them but, although references to their work turns up in an ordinary Internet search, I have not found any contact information in that way. Thanks much for any clues. How can I get contact information for a reasonably prominent theatrical director? You'll have to find out who represents them, they have agents. If you can find out who their agents are, you can send the agent your play and the agent will pass it along. How can I get contact information for a reasonably prominent theatrical director? You might be putting the cart before the horse.

Unless a director is independently wealthy, or the head of a prominent repertory theater, sending him the play won't get it produced. What you want to do is interest a producer, someone with money or access to money, and then once they're on board, they hire the director, which you may be able to influence towards one of your favorites.

That said, the Drama Book Shop in NY carries directories of agents, check with them. How can I get contact information for a reasonably prominent theatrical director?just get a gig online at www.baajaa.com
