Is there any website or book that i can refer to know about characteristics of cancer cell lines? I am particularly interest in Hela, A375 and MCF-7 cell lines and the level of expression of different cell adhesion receptors in them.
Any information is appreciated.How to find out the information about over-experessed receptors in cancer cell lines?Lodish et al could give you good starting information on it, but its a big book. Receptor expression is often measured by mRNA amounts (northern blot) for that protein and "Western blot". It can also be measure by activity, depending on what the receptor does.
You could use google scholar to research more specific things on this subject.
