How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?

Now that the CIA will reform and not use "intense interrogation", what incentive will the terrorists have to give us the information? How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?Through the methods that have been previously used, which are still very unpleasant. The most effective technique they use is massive sleep deprivation.. for like 2 or 3 days. People get so desperate to go to sleep that they will say anything, and it's not considered torture, it's widely used around the world. How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?
Quit stereotyping brown people as terrorists. Black South Africans were terrorists on their own territory as were Native Americans to the colonists.

The real terrorists today are Israelis. Most real terrorists are white Caucasian males. Not all, just many. How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?None... if they are willing to kill themselves to kill us, why would they give us information for basically no reason. They are not diplomats or negotiators... they are terrorists and want to kill us and nothing else.

ADD: I would like to know what kind of traitor would give me a thumbs down the stating the obvious. I didnt even generalize the fact that Islam as a religion is a cancer on this planet and that it along with all its people should be eradicated for us to have world peace. How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?
Don't worry, Obama is going to be a war criminal just like Bush. You racists that think Obama is any different are funny. How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?Well this is a person willing to blow themself up for their cause so I can't really think of anything that can persuade them to talk.

Kindness ROFL you really think they are that stupid that they won't see through that plan as a ploy to get them to talk?
Psychological questioning and showing kindness has been shown to be much more effective in getting info. When someone is electrocuting your scrotum, you will say whatever you can to get it to stop, I would think. Not really reliable information, is it?How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?
The same way they used to BEFORE torture was legalized (wink, wink).
You have to sit them in the dreaded comfy chair and pummel them with fluffy pillows.

But seriously, force them to watch the view. That'll get them begging for mercy in no time. How can we get important information out of captured suspected terrorists?
According to John McCain(I think he knows a thing or two about this) "information" from torture is useless.

What's to stop them from giving random names?
an offer of a lovely evening with an actress... before they met 30 virgins in heaven
i dunno how about the proven method that works such as talking to them as if you are on their side. telling them its too late for them but any information they give will go a long way to helping family members. torture has been proven not to work and anyone who condones its use its a pathetic excuse for a human being
Peter H is right. It is effective in the fact that no one can prove it was torture as it leaves no physical mark.

We could always get Jack Bauer to yell at terrorists. That always seems to work.
I say forget "intense interrogation" and go to out right torture.

I know, I am already resigned to the thumbs down....
As has been said before, if they are willing to blow themselves and 30 other people to hell, what type of torture would one suggest. Just keep them in prison, give them lousy food, or food that their religion prohibits and let them starve, like it or not they do not deserve humane treatment. Eventually they will be so bored and hungry, I doubt weather they would talk, but we could always tell them we don't need their information we will just destroy their whole country and let them live. Now that would be torture
Every time the CIA uses "intense interrogation" it puts EVERY U.S. soldier at risk. Violating the Geneva convention only encourages others to do the same to our captured troops. Would you want a loved one to be waterboarded ? The wheel was invented about the same time as the golden rule was discovered, you know.
