What happens when the police take your personal information at a party?

I'm 17 years old. I got my friend to be my dad over the phone and another friend to be my step brother and gave me a ride home.



But the cops took all my personal information and I'm not sure what they do with it. Can anyone tell me what they do with it. Will I receive anything in the mail? I didn't take a breathalyzer although I was drinking.
