What information do I need when I gather my banking information?

I know this may sound like a stupid question and i'm probably overanalyzing, but aside from my account number, do I need other information?

I'm trying to set up direct deposit and I can't think of anything else I need to provide.

Also, what's a bank's routing number? -Name

-Customer service number

-Website address and log in information if applicable

-Account and routing number



The routing number is found at the bottom of your check along with your account number. If you need the routing number for an account other than your checking account, contact your financial institution. The routing number allows funds to be transferred into or out of your account.
