How can I view private/protected WHOIS domain information for a site that I think is running a scam?

I think I have come across a site that is running a scam, and I want to obtain the website's WHOIS domain information so I can contact who is responsible, but they're using one of those paid private domain registries... How can I get a copy of that record?
