What is the difference between Information and Education ?

Somebody brought up the point that information and education are different things. But the definitions available don't make the distinction clear. Could someone provide their opinion or facts on the matter ?What is the difference between Information and Education ?Educated=Having schooling, training or experience on a certain subject.



Informed=Possession of knowledge based on reliable sources.



Educated people have been taught, have experienced and taken a lot of time to learn every aspect of something. Informed people merely listen to what the educated people say and trust that it is correct and base their opinion and beliefs off what they hear.What is the difference between Information and Education ?If somebody brought up that question he/she is curious and really wanted to know the difference.., good for him because he/she was aware of the difference,,.or maybe not?

Information is different for it gives you data/s that is based on what aspect or based on one subject.

Education have different categories or subjects that may be learned and enhanced through the help of mentors for further understanding.



Because information is only read/heard without proving any aspect with another person.., it just give the facts of a topic.What is the difference between Information and Education ?education may be acquired formal or informal.
